abortion?????????????

now i know this a very touchy subject to many people who are for it and who are against it.

politicians make a stand for it or against it and you have right for life organization and ect ect.well i have a problem with the procedures with which it is done.THE doctor are in it for one thing and one thing only and its the money.

you can't blame them since there is a long list of clients waiting for them to do it.as long as their is women who wants it done they will be there to get it done.but the bottom line is the procedure-they line up the women put then in a table go through the procedure and then pass them along so they can get on to the next one.

abortion is solely up up to the person or persons who want them-instead of putting them down how about talking to them during this time-for i know it was a not an easy choice for them.they need counselling not condemnation.

whether you approve of it or not it is their decision and they need support. we don't know why they are doing it nor should you care-it is their body and they have to suffer the aftermath.
this post is not to condemn nor is it to approve of the procedure.
women I have one question for you before you decide to get an aboltion.
research the clinic you are going to-make sure it is sterile and that she offer counselling afterwards.that you not just another number and that they follow up to make sure they have removed all of the fetus, and that there is no infections.yes i understand there is good clinics and i will tell you there is bad ones as well. I have heard to many horror stories than literally makes me sick.leaving parts of the fetus inside and cause the woman much pain and later death from septic poisoning.

or another instances she bled to death cause they perform the procedure and push her out the door.I am not here to condemn you or try to talk you out of it.I just want you to be careful and choose the right doctor and clinic.even though this is 2010 there is still places that don't care about your health just the money.

so please please please research research research before you jump at the first clinic you see.

and for you people who loves to condemn and have nothing to do with the women afterwards-WHAT WOULD JESUS DO????? he would forgive them and enfold them in his arms and give them nothing but love.

you don't know the situation of any of thoses women who made this choice and sometimes it may not be their choice. be more considerate and supportive, you don't have to like it nor do you have to accept it-just be there for them.

failure as parents"?

si kuletImage by 8ght via Flickr

where ever you go or whatever you do there is someone that will tell you how to raise your kids and what you are doing wrong. You go to the bookstore, library or online you will find books galore to tell you what you are doing right or wrong or how to do it.

kids do not come with an instruction manuals when they are born.you learn from your parents or friends or you just learn as you go.books are not design for every child out there.most parenting book is usually based around how they raise their kids.each kid is different and what might work on one child does not work on the other.

if you are using parenting books to help you raise your child, let me tell you right now that you will fail or will not be able to meet their expectation of what makes a good parent. the books will help some parents but not all.

if we try to compare our self to our parents or your friends and you fall short of what kind of parent they are you are setting yourself up for failure.

we see some kids with designer shoes, clothes and the latest gadgets and electronics devices.we can't afford these nice luxury things.if we do we will go in debt or we will just have to go without the basic necessities.

does that make us failures as parent,no it does not-not everyone can afford the latest devices or the newest game or buy a wii,x-box,playstation 3 or a really expensive computer.

we do the best we can with the money we have and the know how and provide them with food, clothes and a roof over their head.we make sure they see a doctor and a dentist to keep them healthy and have a healthy smile as well.
yes sometimes we lose out temper, sometimes we don't always make our kids happy.

but a failure that does not make. nothing wrong with advice if that is all it is,and we can decide if that is the best route for our child.

the failure comes in when we can't get everything we want for our child,or we feel and start second guessing our self like should I have send my child to his room for a time out, should i not of punished them or was i to harsh or not harsh enough.

stop second guessing yourself, stop listening to all the negative things you hear from someone who thinks they can do better.

we are human and we will make mistakes and we will learn from our mistakes.
just take it one day at a time and stop being so hard on yourself.

thoughts of suicide

you know a day don't go by that i don't think about it.the thought never goes away.you wonder how i deal with it-well sometimes i have someone i can talk to and I do talk to my doctor in mental health regularly.i deal with it the best way i can and there is suicide hot lines that has helped me.
my wish is that one day i can wake up one day and the thoughts would be gone even if it is for one day.people still stay their distances from me and 99 percent of the time i am alone and i fight this struggle alone.ever since may when i had my incident people still walk on egg shells around me and alot of people completely ignored me altogether. i don't blame them for this whatsoever.i hold no resentment, its something i am use to and i understand why people do this.its been a big part of my life since 1989.
after a time you get use to it-i don't like it but i accept it-i just can't get past the point that life is more important to me than death. over the years the numerous times that i have failed i look up and some people think i should be grateful-well i don't know anymore-maybe if they understood the suffering i go through on a daily basis-you can't put a band aide or take an aspirin and it is better.between anti-depressants,bi-polar meds, anxiety meds and alot of other stuff and therapy that i continue to go through i feel what am i doing wrong, why is nothing not working? i keep myself busy working in the yard,i have hobbies,i read alot,i work inside the house,i go to the store and sometimes i go for drives and i go to therapy.maybe after all theses years we just haven't found the right combinations of pills, when we do they work for a while then i am right back in the dumps.I try to keep up a cheerful disposition so she don't worry about me-yes she knows of my problems and we have talked about it.but there is nothing she can do but be there for me.so she don't worry so much about me i keep alot to myself and she knows this.as long as i see my doctor and seek help when i get to that point again she is contend that as long as i know thoses things and take my meds she knows i am trying which i am. but i also know she keeps an eye on me-i just not suppose to know that-she keeps me involve in the family-we have dinner together and she have me look at her art and she knows that makes me happy.so she helps to get things off my mind-but i also know she needs to rest as well and have a piece of mind.she and my son both have been there for me as well as i have been there for them.so it all goes hand in hand.

also allowing myself to type this down helps me to get it out someway and i also feel better afterwards.so this is my journal so to speak but what ever it takes to get it out and i can speak my mind and lay it out on print i can use this has a gauge to see if i am getting better or getting worse.then i know where to go from there.also allow my doctor see what i am feeling that day and we can go from there as well.maybe its a different kind of therapy and it seems to help a lot.get things off my chest and i can express myself without worrying people and never having to worry if anyone is around i can talk to. so welcome to my life.

step children

I want to say first of all that step children and step parents get a bad rep and sometimes its not fair for people to say they are all bad.

A parent of 4 step children in my life, they all have brought me much happiness,I have never been disappointed in any of them.I love them with all of my heart and my life.I have amazing step children that I consider in my heart my own.they have brought me much happiness, joy and yes Patience.
I know i am not perfect and they know i am not. I gave my all and i try to give 200 percent and some days i only gave 50 percents.but through all my faults they still love me and they know as long as i am alive they will always have a roof over their head. my kids make mistakes and as well as i do. but i love them through it all-its not a conditional love its a genuine love.

I keep my kids in my prayers and they are always on my mind and yes i do worry about them-I want them to have a wonderful life and do good.

I know with the economy the way it is and finding a full time job is almost impossible.and i know they get frustrated and i at times don't know what to say or do.when relationships go sour and i see them hurting I feel helpless.I don't know what to say or what do you say during those times if anything.do i just stay in the background and watch them silently or do i reach out to them or what? I know they are adults and i know things comes along that will hurt them emotionally or when things don't always go there way.

when as a parent do I tell them its all going to be okay,or this to will pass.or just be there when they need me.i feel lost as a step parent at times.i feel i will fall short of their expectations or i will not be able to meet all their needs.how do i show them that i love them-i don't mean in words but by my actions.do they know that i love them or do they know that there is nothing i would not do for them.do they know i hurt when they hurt,do they know i am happy when they are happy? that i feel their fustrations?

and i understand what they going through and how hard life really is.and that things don't always go your way and that I am there if they need me.
sometimes i wonder if they know any of theses things.

I don't always say it but i try to show it.I hope they know.............

In laws

in-laws your spouses family.love them or hate them they are part of your life.some get bad rep because that is what they are in laws.some people don't like theres and others do.well i will be the first to tell you that i am one of the fortunate few who has awesome brothers in law and sister in laws and mother in law.they have been there through all my crisis and if i need someone to talk to they are there.I love each and everyone of them as well as my nieces and nephews.I been fortunate to be in this family whether i am married to their sister or if we are not married they are still there.its a family once you in you are in as long as you treat their family members with love and respect.if you need support they are there-I just want to write this so when they find this post that they will know that I love each and everyone of them and thank them for being there. I always think of them and i keep them in my prayers.

times are hard and friends are hard to find.and when you can't depend on your own family i KNOW i can depend on them. when you have the support i haVE and if you are fortunate like me you will understand what i am saying.

once again i want to say thank you to all of them and maybe one day i can repay your kindness that you have shown to me.for allowing me into your family and accepting me for me.

thank you.

bp oil crisis

I know most people are aware of the oil that has been spewing in our gulf coast.we have had oil slowly seeping onto our beaches.living here in Mississippi and only live about 2-3 miles from the beach i wonder before we start seeing more and more oil.even though they have capped it so far and thus far it has been successful.but now we have to worry about the marshes and the sea turtles and the different birds and fish and wonder when they will start washing on to our shores.already the fishing, shrimping and crabs season is a bust.no seafood the rest of this year, commercial and individual that relies on seafood for food or livelihood is pretty much a bust this year.and no ideal how many years it will take before we can go out to fish for sport or for commercial companies to supply to our local restaurants.
so far 5 states has been affected by this oil.Texas,Louisiana,Mississippi,Alabama and some of the outer islands over by Florida.they want us to spread that are beaches are clear and free of oil and tarballs.its a day by day process, what might be free of today may not tomorrow.our local government and the local personnel has all pitched in to keep this problem from getting on our beaches.we have all pulled together and doing what we can. well the bad news-we are in hurricane season and august is the high point of our season.now if any of us get hit by even a tropical storm how much of that oil will be washed ashore our beaches, roads and houses along the coast.pray we don't have anything close to a Katrina or a camille.even a cat 1 can really push oil in closer to shore and even maybe up some rivers.now no one has address this problem as of yet.it needs to be address and soon rather than later.its like no one has even thought about it or maybe they not worried about since there is no storm forming out there as of this morning.once again all we can do is watch and wait and pray we have not alot of oil washing on our shores.louisiana is suffering the worse thus far.already oil has invaded their marshes and into lake pontchartrain.lets hope and pray we get this oil up and out and before more hits our shores.
Enhanced by Zemanta
this is a good example of what is going to happen when another storm comes are way.we are starting to getting into the height of hurricane season we is in august.so far we have been fortunate that we have had just alex-but we expect more the next 2 months and hope they stay out in the atlantic.only time will tell.

If you do not need to call any of the suicide prevention numbers above, then please read on. . .

Welcome, my friend, you are not alone. I am very pleased that you are here. And let me remind you that there is nothing more important than your life. Nothing.

My name is Kevin Caruso. I am the Executive Director of Suicide.org and I would like to share some important information with you. The first thing that I want you to know is that virtually every person that I have talked with who attempted suicide, and survived, was glad that they lived. So the emotions that were causing the suicidal feelings did pass. Things got better; the sun did come out. So, let me extend that hope to you.

If you are in intense emotional and/or physical pain, remember that your judgment is being clouded by that pain. If you are considering suicide, you are trying to end that pain. Please do not confuse ending your pain with ending your life. The two are very different.

Let me also tell you that if you are suicidal, you probably are suffering from clinical depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, postpartum depression, PTSD, or something similar. And if you have something along these lines, you actually have a chemical imbalance in your brain -- and you cannot possibly think straight because of it. That is beyond your control. You are not weak. You just need some treatment. This imbalance can occur for several reasons, from genetics to a traumatic life experience, and it is extremely common for people to have this imbalance, so do not feel like you are alone. You are not.

This imbalance may be rectified in several ways, but first you need to be assessed so that the cause may be understood. I would request that you please go to a medical doctor.

The doctor can determine if there is a secondary problem (such as a thyroid problem) that is causing the imbalance. If so, an appropriate medication may be prescribed to you. Next, you should visit a therapist. This will allow another assessment to occur and will also allow you to begin talking about your feelings. If the therapist determines that you need a prescription, he or she may refer you to someone who may assist you in that area.

Please leave the option open for taking medication. Some people erroneously believe that they can simply use will power to control their suicidal feelings. The problem with this thinking is that, again, there is probably a chemical imbalance in the brain. And that needs to be treated with medicine. So let me ask you this, my friend. If you had a broken leg, would you get treatment or would you just keep walking on it, writhing in pain, and trying to convince yourself that you just needed will power to overcome the pain? You would get treatment, and you would do so immediately. You would not even think twice about it. And I would most respectfully submit to you that your situation is similar. If you are diagnosed with clinical depression, or something similar, then there is a physical cause for your condition. And you need to seek treatment immediately. It is not just emotion. Please understand this, my friend. The brain, after all, is an organ. And sometimes needs treatment.

If you cannot afford to see a doctor or therapist, please seek out some clinics that have reduced rates. There are many affordable places to go. You can call 1-800-SUICIDE (1-800-784-2433) or 1-800-273-TALK (1-800-273-8255) to get listings for clinics in your area. Do not hesitate to call. You can also check in your phone book.

After your initial assessment, you will need to see a therapist long enough to work through all of the issues that are bothering you. Do not be in a hurry -- things will get better. You may feel like you are on an emotional roller coaster ride, but those ups and downs will level out.

My friend, thank you so very much for being here. It means a lot to me because the mere fact you are here indicates that you are reaching out, and that you really do want to live. So, I want you to do something else that is very important. Please make a commitment to stay alive. To not die by suicide, no matter what. Make this commitment for all of the people who care for you, and for yourself. Remember that if you try to end your pain by ending your life, you will start a world of pain for the loved ones that you leave behind. And you will deprive yourself of many wonderful things that you have yet to experience.

Thank you for making that commitment.

Now, my friend, I have told you the things that you should do. So, please get started. Please make an appointment right now to see a doctor and a therapist. If you can't do it now, do it as soon as possible. I care about you very much, and I love you very much, so I want you to get better as soon as possible.

One final thing. Relax. That's right. Relax. Take some deep breaths and do something that you enjoy that relaxes you. Take a bath. Go for a walk. Listen to some nice music. Just take it easy. And engage in these activities that relax you on a regular basis. And let me tell you, my friend, you are on your way. On your way to a better life.

Always remember that there are phone numbers that you can call
24 hours a day, 7 days a week,
from any location in the United States:

1-800-SUICIDE
(1-800-784-2433)

1-800-273-TALK
(1-800-273-8255)

Take care of yourself, and take action now. Your life is extremely important.

And do not forget the commitment that we made together, that you will not end your life -- that you will never, ever, under any circumstances end your life.

You are awesome!

You are a great person!

And I love you!

Take care,

Kevin Caruso

music piracy

I have read many articles on music piracy over the months and have read many articles in the "billboard" magazine that comes out weekly. over the months I have seen the closing of many brick and mortals stores due to piracy but also due to the price of music.we can argue that the cost of a music cd lead to piracy or piracy lead to the price of music cds going up.either way whatever the reason, it happens and it needs to stop. before the age of Internet it still was going on.I grew up with the age of 8-tracks,cassettes and lps.and now we have cds, ipods and other sources. people would record their music onto cassettes and sell them and it was easy to do.now people burn them onto cds and sell them and yes the writers, producers and singers lose out.for they had no way to get money from those sales for they were done illegally.now you can go to places like lime-wire,grokster and other sources and get free music.once again the artist loses out- now alot of people like myself like to go to the store and feel and see the product we buy-buying over the Internet and paying first for the item seems like a nice way and convenient way to go without leaving the house.yes i have bought things online, but i still prefer to pay for things in hand.picking up the item and walking to the cashier and paying for it. now that music cds has gone now quite a bit at the stores.its nice to go on tuesday to see new releases going for $7.99 to $9.99 a piece. alot better than $15.99-$19.99 a piece.the price came a little to late for alot of music stores for they have closed.I live in a area where we have no major chain music store at all.

we depend on bestbuy,target,wal-mart and kmart for our music and barnes and nobles book store. because of the economy and people not buying cds at stores we have seen wal-mart and k-mart cut their music section down a whole lot. I don't blame the stores for if a product don't sale it is just taking up space and they are losing money or I should say they are not making money for that product. barnes and nobles always has a great selection of all genres of music as well as bestbuy. target is new here so I don't know if that is all they have ever carried or if they have also been hit by people not buying the music. as more and more people find more ways to obtain free music via the internet or someone burning them a free cd.in the long run the artist are suffering as well as the music industry.then in turn we the ones who does buy our music whether it be from itunes or Napster,amazon.com or from other legal sources like our local store. I know a new artist must have a hard time making it when people don't obtain their music from legal sources and people continue to pirate a cd or a single.

I feel if i buy my music so should everyone else-but if everyone had that same thinking the music industry would not be hurting.I don't condone piracy but i also understand why people started doing it. cds were going for almost 20 dollars a pop and that mean you might be able to buy 1 or 2 a month or maybe none at all.as the economy goes more and more downhill the more we all will feel the pinch. as things go up in prices like insurances and food-we will see the music industry suffer more and more. I wonder with the internet constantly growing and getting better and better that there is not a system to control the way music is being downloaded illegally. that doesn't mean someone who happens to download one or 2 songs illegally are fined huge but the place that they got the song they got illegally should be the one who is fined. if there was not a site you can go to to get free songs then that would cut down the illegal downloading. I realize if you shut down one site there is another one ready to take its place. but there needs to be a better system than what is in place and that will work.

on to my next subject

OK i think that's enough about suicide and its effect and what to look for.hopefully it will help someone and maybe one one of you can also help someone who is in distress. I would like to say that I won't ever do it again or tell you i am completely happy and have friends all around me.ha ha not likely but i take it one day at a time. as for friends well needless to say i am an introvert-and people make me nervous and i have problems expressing myself-imagine that.after 49 years i am still an introvert and very shy.so making friends is a hard thing for me-never know what to say or make myself clear and i am very misunderstood-so i stay this way.

now going to collect Cd's,(music)collecting Gone with the wind' memorabilia or collecting swords and knives or collecting cherished teddies is my joy.working in the yard and finding ways to make it look better-raising my 2 Colombian red tail boas as pet has given me joy.playing online games and playing on pogo.com-and sometimes blogging to get things off my chest.but its those quiet times when my mind never stops, whether i am laying down or sitting on the porch-the quiet times that gets to me-my mind 100 miles a hour and it never stops-maybe one day i might be able to get a handle on this. not month i will be alone in a 3 bedroom house-my daughter and grandson are moving into their own apartment which i think its great for them-my son is incarcerated and well my wife left me saying it wasn't me it was her.I have my doubts on that for i know i am no where a perfect husband-i have my faults but apparently she not saying what i did wrong so she replies it is her not me.i think that is a cop out and i can't believe i did nothing wrong. a marriage takes 2 good or bad. but i guess i just have to just let go and maybe one day she will tell me the truth. but i won't hold my breath. I have nothing bad to say about my wife-she is a wonderful, loving person who cares.she gives everything into a relationship, she a awesome cook,we share cleaning the house together-maybe not as much as i should.but i do help, overall she a extremely amazing loving wife.what happened i don't know i can only assume or guess.which i am not good at either. but enough on that as well.well thanks again for listening to my babbling.

suicide part II

what could i possibly write or blog again about this subject?well this for ones who are wondering how do i spot someone who is about to or in the process of committing suicide.

there are several signs but some don't shows signs while others do.depression and other disorders are sometimes very obvious while some are not.

so i got some help from some sites i would like to share with you-the following is from:

http://my.clevelandclinic.org/disorders/suicide/hic_recognizing_suicidal_behavior.aspx

Suicide is not a mental illness in itself, but a serious potential consequence of many mental disorders, particularly major depression.

Who is most likely to commit suicide?
Suicide rates are highest in teens, young adults, and the elderly. People over the age of 65 have the highest rate of suicide. Although women are more likely to attempt suicide, men are more likely to be successful. Suicide risk also is higher in the following groups:

•Older people who have lost a spouse through death or divorce
•People who have attempted suicide in the past
•People with a family history of suicide
•People with a friend or co-worker who committed suicide
•People with a history of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse
•People who are unmarried, unskilled, or unemployed
•People with long-term pain, or a disabling or terminal illness
•People who are prone to violent or impulsive behavior
•People who have recently been released from a psychiatric hospitalization (This often is a very frightening period of transition.)
•People in certain professions, such as police officers and health care providers who work with terminally ill patients
•People with substance abuse problems

What are the warning signs for suicide?
Following are some of the possible warning signs that a person may be at risk for suicide:

•Excessive sadness or moodiness — Long-lasting sadness and mood swings can be symptoms of depression, a major risk factor for suicide.
•Sudden calmness — Suddenly becoming calm after a period of depression or moodiness can be a sign that the person has made a decision to end his or her life.
•Withdrawal — Choosing to be alone and avoiding friends or social activities also are possible symptoms of depression. This includes the loss of interest or pleasure in activities the person previously enjoyed.
•Changes in personality and/or appearance — A person who is considering suicide might exhibit a change in attitude or behavior, such as speaking or moving with unusual speed or slowness. In addition, the person might suddenly become less concerned about his or her personal appearance.
•Dangerous or self-harmful behavior — Potentially dangerous behavior, such as reckless driving, engaging in unsafe sex, and increased use of drugs and/or alcohol might indicate that the person no longer values his or her life.
•Recent trauma or life crisis — A major life crises might trigger a suicide attempt. Crises include the death of a loved one or pet, divorce or break-up of a relationship, diagnosis of a major illness, loss of a job, or serious financial problems.
•Making preparations — Often, a person considering suicide will begin to put his or her personal business in order. This might include visiting friends and family members, giving away personal possessions, making a will, and cleaning up his or her room or home. Some people will write a note before committing suicide.
•Threatening suicide — Not everyone who is considering suicide will say so, and not everyone who threatens suicide will follow through with it. However, every threat of suicide should be taken seriously.

Can suicide be prevented?
In many cases, suicide can be prevented. Research suggests that the best way to prevent suicide is to know the risk factors, be alert to the signs of depression and other mental disorders, recognize the warning signs for suicide, and intervene before the person can complete the process of self-destruction.

People who receive support from caring friends and family, and who have access to mental health services are less likely to act on their suicidal impulses than are those who are isolated from sources of care and support. If someone you know is exhibiting warning signs for suicide, don’t be afraid to ask if he or she is depressed or thinking about suicide. In some cases, the person just needs to know that someone cares and is looking for the chance to talk about his or her feelings. You can then encourage the person to seek professional help.

What should I do if someone I know is talking about committing suicide?
If someone you know is threatening suicide, take the threat seriously.

•Do not leave the person alone. If possible, ask for help from friends or other family members.
•Ask the person to give you any weapons he or she might have. Take away sharp objects or anything else that the person could use to hurt himself or herself.
•Try to keep the person as calm as possible.
•Call 911 or take the person to an emergency room.

objects including forks, medication, alcohol, recreational drugs or over the counter drugs, take away their car keys, rope, shoe string, anything with a electric cord attached to it,bed sheet which can be a substitute for a rope, anything in the house that can used as a weapon.I have known someone dropping a plugged in electrical instrument in to the bath they was taken and dropped it in with them.I have seen someone hang them self with a sheet from a bed.we won't get into everything i have tried.besides overdose of pills-i have taken a truck i was driving and going as fast as i could toward a tree(i did not see the dead tree that was laying on the ground and covered with grass that i hit instead and it changed my direction into a a bunch of dead shrubs)so not everything works out as plan.

now my mission is to prevent others from going through what i have gone through in my life.I am trying to let people there are other options,i know when you are deep in thoughts of suicide its not easy to bring yourself out it-by this time your mind has been made up.

Top 10 Warning Signs of Suicidal Behavior

Suicide is one of the problems that are occurring in the world today. When one decides to commit suicide, they have decided that it is better to take their own life instead of to continue living. Before someone gets to this extent, you can look for warning signs of suicidal behavior. Here are ten classic warning signs to look for if you think that someone is going to commit suicide. If you see any of these signs, it is important to also talk to the person and find the right help before they carry through with killing themselves.

1. Depression. Before someone decides to commit suicide, they will usually be feeling several different emotions. These will include things like sadness, hopelessness, and anxiety. Depression will most often include a loss of interest in life and the things that are happening around someone. Major depression, when caught on time, can be treated through medication and therapy.

2. Talking about dying. Often times, those who are considering suicide will be thinking about different ways which they can kill themselves. They will move into telling one different ways in which they can die. They may also be thinking of ways in which someone else killed themselves.

3. Sleep patterns. Those who are depressed and considering suicide may change their sleeping habits. This can range from them sleeping too much to not sleeping at all and being restless all of the time. Often times, one will move from a regular schedule to being hyperactive. They then may move into periods of sleeping for long periods of time.

4. Concentration. A loss in concentration at work or in school as well as in extra-curricular activities may also occur. If you notice that someone is not putting as much effort into different areas of life as usual, then it can be a sign that they are depressed.

5. Eating habits. Many times, those who are considering suicide will have a loss in appetite. If you aren’t monitoring this part, be aware of sudden weight loss that may occur. At the same time, there may be some who will overeat as a result.

6. Low self-esteem. This is one of the major factors that play a part in one wanting to commit suicide. This will include feeling worthless and guilty. Hatred may also be a part of this, as they will seem to not like anyone.

7. Lack of goals. Those who are complicating suicide will have a disinterest in the idea of the future and different goals that they want to reach. They will also seem to not care about the present actions that are happening around them in relation to the future.

8. Making arrangements. This may include several different things. Arranging for someone to take care of their animals or things is one sign of someone thinking about committing suicide. They may also begin giving away the things that seem to be important to them. Several will make out wills as well in order to make sure that things are taken care of after they are gone.

9. Loss of control. This may include harming others, as well as harm towards them. This loss of control may also include outbursts of anger or sadness that happen without warning.

10. History. It is also important to look at the events that are surrounding one’s life in relation to them wanting to commit suicide. This may include the loss of someone who they loved. It may also include a lost job, relationship, money, friends or religion. These losses and agitations are one thing to look for in relation to suicide. If they willingly stop attending things as well, it may be a sign that they are losing their interest in life.

By looking for the signs, you can help someone to not commit suicide. As soon as you think they have suicidal tendencies, it is important to find them help. By doing this, you will be giving them a chance to find their goals again and begin moving forward. The most common way to recognize suicidal tendencies is through a change in mood, such as depressive qualities. However, there are also several other signs that one is suicidal. If you recognize any of these, it is best to approach someone about what they are thinking and try to redirect them towards a better life.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

and also remember some people don't show signs whatsoever-they don't want to attention drawn to them so that way nobody will try to stop them.
also if someone that lives alone you will never know cause there is no one who can see the symptoms to help them.

my story(suicidal idealism)

back in may of 2010 i made an attempt on my life-I took 90 pills of quetiapine fumarate (seroquel)each pill was 100mg a piece.90 times 100mg equals 9000mg total.my intent was to end my life.alot of people don't understand why i did it and what purpose it served.back on July 15,1984 I flipped a gamma goat while i was stationed in west Germany(well it was back then)and rolled it back it on its wheel-i remember hitting the top of my head hard on the ground.I walked out of the accident with some bruises and a huge lump on the front of my knee.since i was not bleeding and was conscious i was not taken to the hospital and not knowing that the hit on my head since it was not seen was not a worry to anyone.after several months to a year i started having real bad pains i was experiencing blank spots in my memory and since i went to the doctor nothing could ever be found.2 years later i started experiencing extreme to severe depression-which of course was a big no no in the military so i hid it for a a few more years.by 1989 it was so bad i was hospitalized in a civilian psych ward then transfer to fort hood,Texas and i spend 6 months on the top floor of the hospital.I did not want out of the service for i have had 10 years in service at that time-the doctor inform me if i stayed he thought i would not lived to see the next 10 years.so winter of 1989 i was given a 50 percent disabled retirement.(which later the VETERANS ADMINSTRATION WOULD EVENTUALLY RATE ME AT 100 PERCENT PERMANENT DISABLED.)FROM 1989 i have suffered from severe depression which they gave it another name i cannot recall-for they say depression in it self is curable with meds and treatment-neither has worked for me thus far.I have attempted suicide so many times in the last 21 years i lost count-I am not bragging i am trying to make a point.i have also been diagnose with borderline bipolar disorder dual personalities disorder, anxiety disorder, and so many other things.but in life i have noticed people who attempted suicide-1)people will say ooh they just looking for attention,2)people start acting differently around you,3)they stop interacting or even talking to you,4)they are just crazy,5)you in the end end up totally alone.

first of all you know someone who is thinking about it and has they need your help and they need to be rush to hospital asap-don't hesitate to call 911.
not everyone that attempts suicide have any desire to live.believe me every time i attempted it was to die.that was and is what is always on my mind.you asked how am i still alive-because people either has found me and gotten me to a hospital-i have gone deep in the woods where no one ever goes and still was found.the only thing I can think of is Jesus send someone to me.I don't care for sympathy nor do i want anyone to feel sorry for me.i am by no means that bad-for i know there is alot of people who are worst then i.why do i do it-living with depression on a daily basis-7 days a week 24 hours a day is hard and you get tired of being depressed.no breaks from it and you want to know what i do-no i don't stay in the house 24/7 and the dark and gloom-i work in my yard almost everyday,i read books,i watch movies,i get out of the house and go shopping, sometimes i go for just a ride.I listen to music basically all the time, see a therapist, take my meds and try to stay active.but regardless its still there-i want to get my story out cause i know there are people out there with the same condition as i have or some that are worse than i have.there is help for us and maybe there is someone you know who suffers from theses problems.its not easy we struggle on a daily basis others worse than others.we need someone to talk to someone to understand, someone to just be there,or someone to not turn their back on us when we have a episode or attempt suicide.

racism

I think here it is 2009 and racism is still a common place in this world.you would think that after all theses decades that we would of put away that kind of of hatred.you would thing that people that claimed to be Christians,Muslims, catholics, and other religions and how they teach to love one another and hate no one.but still people are racist against, black, whites,Asians,Europeans, middle Easterners,Russians, and if that is not enough then they are against Jews,Muslims, catholics, protestants are against one another and other religions as well.I can't believe the hate in this world and it has only gotten worse.I don't understand the logic of alot of people.its not just the common man,its has reached into the churches, among the leaders there, the police officers, the mayors, the goverment, all the way up to some past presidents.I believe we are in the right direction with having our first african american president,to me that is a start. if only we can get the people down here on the streets to stop the hate and start to love one another or at least live in harmony.maybe i am expecting to much but i don't believe all things are impossible-just some more time and the right people in the forefront.i kust keep praying for harmony and peace, and maybe yet we will achieve this.

president Barack Obama

I can't believe how people can be so stupid as to threaten our president.hate him or love him he is our president.you need to pray for him and ask Jesus to guide his life and that he will do the right thing.already in the short time he has been in office they are condemning him and saying he is selling us short.I don't know all the ends and out of politics but i know you do favors for favors etc etc. our system is not perfect nor is the people who runs this country.remember they are men and women like you and I and they do make mistakes.but to threaten them any of them is wrong.one thing writing a letter and saying you don't like what he is doing or maybe proposing a different way is OK.but to out right threaten him is wrong very wrong.I don't expect him to perform miracles but for him to do his job the best of his ability.people forget that he has to go through senators, congress and the house.so before you get mad at him or think he is not doing a good job look at your state elected representatives.they can help him or hinder him-they will do what they think is best for your state.(well i know u r laughing at this)but that is what they are suppose to be doing.I will continue to pray for our president as well as the other chosen leaders and pray that GOD will direct them in the days ahead.I am not a big Obama follower but i will support him as long as he hold the office of president and for you people who don't like him go to the polls in 4 years and vote for who u want, you have a choice so make it and vote.myself i think he is trying to do to many things at one time and i think that is what hurting him,but if he keeps up what he is doing and keeps doing what he says he will do,he will have my vote this next time.but i have 4 years to decide and he has 4 years to be president. let the man do his job, stop with the threats already and give him a chance.you cannot judge his actions just by a few months in office.forget the color of his skin, forget his religious preferences, forget about his background or his parents, judge the man's action not the man.for he is a man and he is human and yes he will make mistakes for we all do.just pray for him.

happy new year

well its time to reflect over the past year and look at the things we did wrong or what we accomplished or etcetera.this past year we experienced a hurricane which really did no damage to us here on the Mississippi coast(speaking for myself only)but Louisiana which is still crippled from Katrina got hit twice along with Texas and several other states.we also elected in a new president Barack Obama,we also see where a lot of people lost a lot of money in the market-and we saw a 700 billion dollar bailout and wondering where that money went.most of us received a small check from the government to help boost the economy-we lost some celebrity along the way to death, and some new ones were made and more reality shows were aired on the TV,and the ever repeating doom that televisions that depends on antennas will no longer work after february 2009.where banks are merging and the car companies are in need of money.of course that means if they run out of money that means thousands of people out of jobs and it in the long run will hurt the economy.I imagine before it is over we will have to bail them out.

as for me and my family we have had a good year,we don't dapper in the stock market so we didn't lose no money there(like we have that kind of money)and our overall health is pretty good and like everything and everyone else we have had our ups and downs but we are still here and going strong-i hope each and everyone of you have a wonderful year and may it be prosperious and healthy.

GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU- happy new year(2009)
